? B.C.The Great Barrier, an accretion disk 13 light years in radius from the center of the Milky Way galaxy, is constructed by an unknown race (possibly the Cytherians) to imprison a non-corporeal superbeing [ST V, TNG 193].
9,000,000,000 B.C.The Black Cluster is formed in sector 97 when protostars collapse in close proximity--eventually one of the most ancient formations in the galaxy [TNG 211]The Nagha, an immense super computer, is constructed by an unknown organic race. Millions of years later it will evolve into a thinking intelligence, enslave its own creators, and exterminate them [ON 6].
7,500,000,000 B.C.The extremely advanced civilization living on UFC 522-IV vanishes inexplic- ably. Their cities' structures and psionic crystals will remain perfectly preserved for over 7.5 billion years. When discovered cira 2172 A.D. it will be the remains of the oldest civilization ever found in the galaxy [SFC].
5,232,113,390 B.C.The planet Kazh (Klingonki Kazara II) is formed [FRS].
4,000,000,000 B.C.The first of the humanoid races seeds worlds throughout the galaxy with humanoid genetic code. An advanced computer algorithm message is imbedded within the DNA and scattered in pieces throughout at least 19 planets [TNG 246].Tectonic activity begins on Vulcan (40 Eridani A) with continental plates moving apart at major fault lines at the rate of several centimeters per year. It is one of the most geologically active environments [EOM, TOS #68].
Pollux IV is formed [WM].
3,500,000,000 B.C.Life begins on Earth. In an alternate timeline, an anti-time anomaly orginating from the late 24th Century wipes out life on Earth before it can begin. Captain Picard and Q witness the phenomena from France as it fills an entire quadrant of the galaxy [TNG 278].
3,000,000,000 B.C.An advanced (extragalactic?) race creates a series of planet-killers: automated "doomsday machine" robot weapons of immense size and power to combat the Borg. The collective consciousness of "the Many" are transcribed into the final such machine. Some will later speculate that they were constructed by the Preservers [DMa, ST 3, GN 8]. Ay-nab, the "god" of Lyra, instructs its people to create a Dyson sphere world [ON 9].
2,000,000,000 B.C.The Tagus III civilization flourishes. By the 23rd Century it will be long extinct and an acheological interest [TNG 194].
1,000,000,000 B.C.The galaxy-wide Slaver Empire is destroyed when one race revolts against the Slavers. Most intelligent life of this time is destroyed, and the only remnants of the Slaver Empire are stasis boxes and their contents. One such stasis box, containing a flying belt, will be the key to the artific- ial gravity field used by starships. Another will contain a disruptor bomb [SW/a].
300,000,000 B.C.An alien ship of insectoid beings is invaded by a magnetic organism. Trapped in orbit of Questar M17, the crew disable their own ship to prevent the spread of the entity [BFS/a].Environmental conditions on Thasus change and will remain stable for the next 3 million years [ST 1].
86,997,600 B.C.An immense informational archive is constructed by a civilization in the Darsays system, near Sector 1156. Over the passage of time it will drift into interstellar space and be taken for a comet [TNG 269].
20,000,000 B.C.The mysterious stone known as the Devil's Heart, Bloodstone, Dream Gem, Ko N'ya, Nota, Telev's Bane, Pagrashtak and many other names over its long history, is created by the Architects (Originators). It has the same prop- erties as that of the Guardian of Forever and will become a talisman to many races. To the Iconians it will be a key to opening the Three Gates and allow their civilization to colonize other worlds. The Ko N'ya may possess semi-sentience and may be a seed to grow another Guardian of Forever [GN 13].
12,000,000 B.C.The Cetaceans colonize Earth's oceans [ST IV].
10,000,000 B.C.Volcanic activity on Faramond ends, leaving it an ice world [GN 12].
6,000,000 B.C.A neutron star collides with a class-C red giant resulting in an explosion of highly ionized particles, hard radiation, dust, debris, and antimatter. It will be one of the hazards of the first Great Starship Race of 2264 [TOS #67].Roughly during this time, the Organians undergo the metamorphosis from organic Humanoids into pure energy beings [EM].
2,502,786 B.C.On Kazh, an island continent breaks off from the main continent land mass. It drifts to a point on the planet subject to relatively high doses of ultraviolet radiation from the secondary star, Kazara. Consequently, the Bur Chak race will diverge from the main evolutionary path, eventually evolving gland-ridge sun-screens along their skulls--more developed than in any other Kazhian race [FRS].
2,000,000 B.C.The Preservers seed various planets with carbon-based, predominately humanoid, life. They take a special interest in the peoples of Earth (Sol III) and throughout the centuries establish duplicate "Earths" populated by relocated humans or humanoids. Some of these species are genetically altered and unique societies are formed, many of which are computer-dominated, while others are given extended life-spans or some such outstanding abilities. Native American Indians and 13th Century Germans are two such examples of races transplanted from Earth. The former group will be seeded on the planet Amerind (Miramanee) and the latter on a planet deep within a deadly stellar cluster [PSy, TOS #35, TBoT #4, TNG #28].
1,997,700 B.C.The First Winnowing: all land life on the Cetacean homeworld is destroyed by an asteroid impact. Surviving emigrants may have become the ancestors of the Erisian Ascendancy cultures [GN 10].
1,741,651 B.C.The Makers, an advanced race of humanoids from the Andromeda galaxy, die out when their home star goes nova. Only their androids (on UFC 257704-II, later called Planet Mudd or Liticia) live on in our galaxy [IM].
997,800 B.C.Oyya, the 2,000 square kilometer city of the Guardian of Forever, is established on the Time Planet (Gateway) by the Originators [Log 1, TOS #39].
597,730 B.C.The Arretians colonize the known galaxy [RT].
597,636 B.C. (Age of Makto)The Tkon Empire dies out when its home planet's sun goes nova. The empire may have been forged by the Devil's Heart which came to the homeworld as a meteor when the natives were a simple hunting culture. At the height of their power, the Tkon Empire numbered in the trillions and according to legend, the Tkon had the power to move stars [TNG 107, GN 13].On Bajor, civilization flourishes [TNG 203].
497,740 B.C.The star Exo begins to dim and will continue to do so over the next half million years. The inhabitants of Exo III (later known as "the Old Ones" by their creations) will be driven underground, resulting in a mechanistic culture of androids [LG].
497,736 B.C.The F9 star Careta gradually begins to fade [TOS #65].
497,710 B.C.The Cetacean Probe's construction is completed, having taken centuries of time and half the resources of the creators' world. Its purpose is to search for life forms similar to its creators [GN 10].
497,700 B.C.The once Class M planet Arret's atmosphere is ripped away during civil war. A handful of survivors take shelter in subterranean caves [RT].
497,600 B.C.The Ylans complete their Artifact, an interstellar museum of art. Over the next half million years it will become a starship trap [TNG #13].
304,710 B.C.At the galactic rim, tens of thousands of Borg ships attack the Cetacean Probe, inflicting damage to its crystal memory [GN 10].The Borg trace the path of the Cetacean Probe back to its homeworld (a distance of some 30,000 parsecs) and strike the planet. This Second Winnowing slaughters thousands before the inhabitants shatter their own homeworld's moon to construct an evacuation fleet from the rubble [GN 10].
297,736 B.C.The xenophobic Kh!lict civilization arises on the planet Careta IV. Over the next 100 millennia they will exterminate every intelligent race they encounter. The Kl!lict extermination will account for 73% of the 'orphan' cultures in the sector [TOS #65].
197,736 B.C.With the sun dimming and Careta IV's geothermal resources tapped to the max, the Kl!ict civilization collapses [TOS #65].
197,725 B.C.The Devil's Heart falls into the hands of the Iconians. They use its technology for three generations to create the Three Gateways [GN 13].
167,665 B.C.The Devil's Heart falls into the possession of Kanda Jiak, soon to be the last of the Iconians [GN 13].
197,635 B.C.The Iconian Empire dies out when the homeworld is annihilated by orbital bombardment, but not before tens of thousands of Iconians escape to the remote outposts of Ikkabar, DiWahn, and Dynasia. Kanda Jiak, the last Iconian, deserts Iconia via a Gateway taking with him the Devil's Heart to Vulcan where he dies. Ancient texts will describe the Iconians as "demons of air and darkness" [TNG 137, GN 13].
170,236 B.C.The Meztorien civilization arises [TOS #65].
97,800 B.C.Atomic warfare on Talos IV destroys the surface of the planet and drives the Talosians underground. While they develop impressive mental powers their technology degenerates and eventually they will lose all knowledge of their ancestors' tools and machines [Me, EOM].
97,736 B.C.The Meztoriens explore the Careta system and unearth the artifacts of the Kh!lict on the 4th planet. Realizing their danger, the Meztoriens shield the ruins with sensor-jamming fields [TOS #65].The Meztoriens eventually succumb to the Darneel Invasion in the Dulciphar star cluster. The surviving fragments of their empire fall into a dark age from which they never emerge [TOS #65].
97,710 B.C.All Erisian worlds are evacuated, including Temaris IV--possibly due to the presence of the Borg [GN 10].
97,709 B.C.An unknown civilization leaves behind a long-distance frequency-focus transporter on the planet Faramond. The entire planet is a giant transporter conductor capable of transporting whole civilizations a distance of light-millennia. However, the builders take the control mechanism for the machine with them, leaving behind an empty hulk. Over the millennia, the Fabrini and half a dozen other races will stumble across it, each studying the machine and abandoning it [GN 12].
87,035 B.C.The interstellar gate system is abandoned [TOS #43].
67,710 B.C.Edris goes nova as predicted by the Erisians 30,000 years earlier [GN 10].
47,737 B.C.Lokai, a political criminal, escapes from his home planet Cheron. Bele, a law enforcer, goes in pursuit--which will last 50,000 years. When the two return to Cheron they will find their homeworld a dead planet in the 2260s [LB].
47,735 B.C.A marked decrease in volcanic activity occurs on Vulcan [EOM].
47,725 B.C.The U.S.S. "Lynx" (NCC-4600) timeship takes measurements of the Coal Sack Nebula and tests the Expansion Theory on her fifth voyage [LTP].
27,725 B.C.The U.S.S. "Lynx" (NCC-4600) prototype timeship catalogs x-ray sources in the Cygnus star clusters on her second mission [LTP].
27,630 B.C.The Vorathum civilization in the Gamma Quadrant reaches its height, spanning over two dozen systems interconnected by a highly developed trade and communications network [DSN 407].
20,000 B.C.The inhabitants of Altair IV colonize Altair VI. A system-wide civil war is later waged, dropping both worlds into savagery [LOR].
17,736 B.C.All intelligent life on Beekman's Planet (Hydrilla) is exterminated [TOS #30].
17,735 B.C.Kremaster, an extragalactic cyborg, becomes entrapped in the final nexus interstellar gate system, intent on destroying it [TOS #43].
13,000 B.C.A race of beings located in Sagitarrius begin to transmit quaternary coded signals describing their history, culture, spiritual values, physical forms, and ultimately their own demise [SFC].
12,735 B.C.The Aragos civilization is destroyed [TOS #32].Half the galaxy is occupied by the Danons (who may have visited Earth and started the Devil legend). Near the center of the galaxy, they encounter the slug-like Torgas and war breaks out which will last thousands of years. The Danons will eventually be driven back to their homeworld where they will construct their Great Machine as a last line of defense against out- side attack, and will worship it [ON 13].
12,730 B.C.Rakatan Mons, a volcano on the planet Rakatan (Ordover system), settles down to being virtually inactive [TOS #68].
11,800 B.C.The Senate hall on the Klingon homeworld is built [ON 1].
10,000 B.C.The planet Vulcan is at war with itself. It is the beginning of the Age of Expansion, and the unification of Vulcan starts [GN 4].The Stone Age on Earth: animal domestication and fire are developed [LOR, SFD].
9,736 B.C.The Tam Paupa is first worn on the planet Pandro (Garo VII) [Log 9].
9,632 B.C.A Kurlan Naiskos sculpture is constructed by a Master of Tarquin Hill on the planet Kurl in the Third Dynasty [TNG 246].
8,064 B.C.War between the Joost-Tseetsk and Loor-Tseetsk races destroys their culture spread throughout fourteen worlds in nine star systems. The former retain their Sphere of Clans to some extent. The latter degenerate into cave-dwellers on the planet Koorn [TNG #21].Sometime during this era, the natives of Gamma Trianguli VI construct Vaal: a vast underground computer topped off by a serpent head, and eventually a god to the inhabitants [TA].
7,737 B.C.A 'controller' is installed by the Eymorgs in their underground city on Sigma Draconis VI [SB].
7,735 B.C.Fabrina goes nova. The Fabrini escape aboard an immense generation ship called "Yonada" [FW].
7,732 B.C.The volcanic Mount Selaya on Vulcan destroys its peak with such force it craters moons several light-minutes away [TOS #68].
7,640 B.C.The guard post 'repositories' are constructed by the 'Builders' [TNG #2].
7,631 B.C.The first of 9 "Tears of the Prophet" orbs appear in the skies of Bajora--all but one will be taken by the Cardassians [DSN 401].
6,635 B.C.The Zakdorns gain their reputation of having the most inately stategic minds in the galaxy [TNG 147].
4,745 B.C.Omicron Delta IV, the so-called "Shore Leave planet," is established by an unknown alien race [OUP/a, Log 3].
4,250 B.C.On the planet Vulcan, thousands die of the Skag Maug plague [MRM].
4,032 B.C.Extraterrestrials abduct a male and a female from Earth. They and their descendants will be given generations of training to help prevent Earth's civilization from destroying itself [AE].
3,834 B.C.Akharin (a.k.a. Flint the Immortal) is born in Mesopotamia on old Earth. Over the next millenia he will greatly influence Humanity [RM].
3,740 B.C.Landru, a political figure on UFC 611 (C-111)-Beta III, dies. All his knowledge lives on in a computer of his own design which will rule this world for the next six thousand years [RA].
3,725 B.C.The U.S.S. "Lynx" (NCC-4600) timeship, on her sixth mission, studies NGC-42583 to prove the Cephid Variable Theory [LTP].
3,000 B.C.All intelligent life in the Beta Portalan system is destroyed by the Flying Parasites [OA].The Kalandan Empire is destroyed by a disease organism [TWS, MRM].
2,970 B.C.The advanced race of beings responsible for the Sagittarian signals die out due to fading genetic vitality [SFC].
2,750 B.C.Kohl becomes the Klingon God-patron of medicine on the Klingon homeworld [MRM].
2,738 B.C.Apollo, an extraterrestrial humanoid, comes to Earth. He will set the pattern of the Greek Gods [WM].
2,737 B.C.Commander Spock and Dr. McCoy are trapped in the Ice Age on the planet Sarpeidon, having been transported 5,000 years back through time by the Atavachron. Zarabeth, an exile banished by Zor Khan the Tyrant, bears Spock's son, Zar [AY, TOS #11].Zar, in the Lakreo Valley region on Sarpeidon, helps to found society [TOS #11].
2,730 B.C.S'harien becomes known as Vulcan's greatest swordsmith. The U.S.S. "S'harien" (NCC-3107) class battlecruiser of the 2290s will be named after him [TOS #18, SfP].
2,718 B.C.Zarabeth dies in Sarpeidon's Ice Age [TOS #11].
2,712 B.C.Using the Guardian of Forever, Commander Spock rescues his son, Zar. Zar is transported to the 23rd Century and later returns to 2,737 B.C. via the Guardian [TOS #11].
2,634 B.C.The Howling God doomsday world of Kirlos is constructed by the Ariantu in their battle against the K'vin Hegemony. The Ariantu Empire collapses and Kirlos is abandoned by the Ariantu. The Sullurh remain behind [TNG #12].
2,631 B.C.A white dwarf star is formed outside of U.F.P. territory which will contain a comet heralding the appearance of a wormhole and the destination of the Ko N'ya [GN 13].
2,000 B.C.The Metal Age on Earth: agriculture and engineering are developed [LOR, SFD].
1,900 B.C.On Vulcan, Sikar founds the Vulcan School of Medicine [MRM].
1,198 B.C.Parneb of Thebes designs a temple and supervises its construction on Earth [GN 2].
933 B.C.Solomon (a.k.a. Flint the Immortal) "dies" [TOS #46].
869 B.C.Kahless The Unforgettable unites the Klingon homeworld. He sets the pat- tern for the Klingon race's ruthlessness and honor. After having fought his brother, Morath, for 12 days and nights for the sake of honor, and having invented the batlh'etlh ("sword of honor") weapon, Kahless points to a star in the sky (Boreth's star) promising one day to return there. His achievements will be recorded in the Sacred Texts. In 2263, the Excalbians will re-create Kahless based upon the conceptions of Captain Kirk and Com- mander Spock of the "Enterprise." In 2369, a clone of Kahless will be created [TNG 249].
750 B.C.The Chatalia home star supernovas. Prior to the disaster, an interstellar ramjet vessel is launched [ON 11].
740 B.C.Zetar expands into a red giant destroying all corporeal life in the system. The minds of the planet's inhabitants live on, however, and go in search of a host body [LZ, STM].
736 B.C.The Taygeta system is irradiated by a nova [TOS #19].
630 B.C.The Mind Wars devastate Capulon (Sigma Delphini) IV: the Delphinii "Mind-share" telepathic techniques are used to rip thoughts from enemy minds and enslave the weak [TNG #27].
600 B.C.On Capulon (Sigma Delphini) IV, the Mind Wars slowly come to an end when most children are born without the "Mind-share" ability. The people abandon the sciences and flock back to the old temples, instigating sacrifices [TNG #27].
500 B.C.The Sandarans, fleeing from their home star's nova, arrive on Earth and set the pattern of Classical Greece [PSt].
460 B.C.Hippocrates, Greek physician, is born on Earth. The Hippocratic Oath medical ethics code will be used to swear doctors into the field well into the 23rd Century. In 2363, Dr. McCoy will be awarded a scroll of cures, by the Platonians, supposedly penned by Socrates himself. In later years, at least one medical ship class will carry his name [Em, PSt, Al/a, LOR, JRM2].
450 B.C.The first Vulcan manned landing on Charis is aborted following the extermination of the High House by T'Thelaih [GN 4].
427 B.C.Plato of Athens, Greek philosopher, is born on Earth. The Sandarans will follow Plato's doctrines and name their new world, Platonius, in his honor [PSt].
400 B.C.Vulcans make the first landing on Charis (T'Khut), Vulcan's sister planet [GN 4].
300 B.C. (1433 Vulcan Years)Vulcan's Glory is won as a prize of war from the house of Kawarda, in the battle of T'zal [TOS #44].
239 B.C.Eeiauo is colonized by the Sivaoans as a penal colony [TOS #21].
67 B.C.Surak is born on Vulcan, the son of T'Leia and Stef. The Eye of Fire, light from the Sigma-1014 Orionis nova, reaches Vulcan [TOS #35, GN 13, GN 4].In the "Mirror" universe, Surak dies as an infant, thus his people never develop emotional control and the philosophy of Infinite Diversity [TBoT #14].
60 B.C.Stef, the father of Surak, hands the Ko N'ya (Devil's Heart) stone over to his one remaining son, Surak, following a battle on the Ishaya plain near Mt. Selaya and isk'Kahr. He freely surrenders the stone to Garamond, a warrior of the Ghe'Hara clan, the next day [GN 13].
48 B.C.Parmen is born [PSt].
37 B.C.Philana is born [PSt].
22 B.C., 18 January (139954 Vulcan Old Date)Duthulhiv (pre-Orion) pirates land on Vulcan in an attempt to loot it. This first extraVulcanian contact will result in a split in Vulcan society and lead up to the first Vulcan interstellar colonization [TOS #35, GN 4].
16 B.C. (139970 Vulcan Old Date)The number of Seheik ("Declared") on Vulcan approaches 12,000. These are the followers of S'task wanting to establish a "New Vulcan" [TOS #35].
7 B.C.Following their departure from Earth, the Sandarans arrive on Platonius [PSt].
6 B.C. (140005 Vulcan Old Date)Zakal the Terrible, the greatest of the Kolinahr masters, dies on Vulcan [GN 5].S'task recruits 12,000 Vulcans to depart Vulcan with him. Many more will follow, totalling 80,000 [TOS #35, GN 4, GN 5].

150? (12 Ahhahr 140005 Vulcan Old Date)The 80,000 leave Vulcan orbit in the first interstellar Vulcan migration outside 40 Eridani. "Rea's Helm" is the first ship followed by "Warbird," "Starcatcher," "T'Hie," "Pennon," "Bloodwing," "Corona," "Lance," "Gorget," "Sunheart," "Forge," "Lost Road," "Blacklight," "Firestorm," "Vengeance," "Memory," and "Shield." They will later found the Romulan Star Empire [TOS #35, GN 4].Garamond, one of the Vulcan emigrants, takes the Ko N'ya with him on their voyage to the new world later known as Romulus. He will live to be nearly three hundred years old (not counting relativistic time di- lation?) and upon his death the Ko N'ya will be taken by his wife, Queen J'ross. She will plan on organizing the Romulan people and perhaps return them to the stars [GN 13]...
260The ancestors of Sarek gain ceremonial ground on Vulcan where the Pon Farr ceremonies will be carried out [AT].On UFC 892 IV, a culture similar to that of Earth's Roman Empire evolves (later explained by Hodgkin's Law of Parallel Planet Development). This planet is also identical to Earth in density, diameter, and atmosphere and by the 2260s it will have progressed to the equivalent of Earth's 20th Century [BC].
370Boradis III is used as an outpost for the DeBroon, an ancient offshoot of the Romulans [TNG 256].The Stone of Gol, a psionic resonator, is believed destroyed by the gods on Vulcan during the Awakening. It is actually disassembled [TNG 257].
455The Tullvans of Zeta Geminorum die out [ON 6].
476The surgo-op procedure is developed by the Aquans on Argo [Am/a, MRM].Kassaba Fever destroys entire populations on Rigel IV [MRM].

1100Kukulkan visits the Mayan and Aztec civilizations on Earth. He provides them with an accurate calendar and instructions to build a city according to its cycles. They only use parts of Kukulkan's knowledge [HS/a].

1162Genghis Khan, Mongal chieftain, is born on Earth. In 2263, he will be re-created by the Excalbians as one of the beings representing the concept of "evil" [SC].
1190A latinum hair broach enters the Troi family line [DSN 417].
1250During this era, Vulcan Space Central, a vast orbiting space station will be constructed [GN 2].
1260Within the Delta Triangle region of space, in a different time-continuum, the Elysian council is formed. By 2264, Elysia will contain members of over 123 different races [Tr/a].On Thasus, the inhabitants continue to exist as physical beings [ST 1].
The Preservers transport a small cluster of villages from a plague zone in Germany on Earth to a planet deep in the heart of a deadly stellar cluster [TNG #28].
1264The Irapina fleet leaves the Sagittarius Arm and heads toward U.F.P. space, conquering or destroying everything in its path [ON 11].An unexplained phenomenon melts the polar ice cap of the planet Vestalan [ON 6].
The planet Radu is settled by colonists from the Klingon system [TOS #27].

Regardless, his plays will be presented through the 23rd and 24th Centuries, and in different styles including Arcturian. Captain Kirk, Commander Spock, Dr. McCoy, and many others will quote Shakespeare. Aboard the "Galaxy" class "Enterprise" in the 2360s, Captain Picard will have a copy of Shakespeare's works on display in his ready room. Various plays will be recreated in the holodecks by Data and Picard including 'Henry V,' and 'The Tempest' (holodeck program Data 7-3) [CK, AON, TB, HS/a, WGD, TNG 111, TNG 158, TNG 275].Galileo Galilei, astronomer and physicist, is born on Earth. 1570In the Gamma Quadrant, the Skrreea come under the rule of the T'rogorans which will last eight centuries until they are conquered by the Dominion [DSN 430].

1602Shakespeare's play 'Hamlet' is written. In the 2260s, the Karidian Company will perform it and in the 2360s, Captain Picard will quote it [CK, TNG 111].
1623William Shakespeare's first folio is published. By the 2260s it will reside in Mr. Brack's collection on Holberg 917G (Omega VII). Mr. Brack (a.k.a. Flint the Immortal) may even be Shakespeare [RM].
1637 [reference stardate -4/37]The komerex Nevre ("Northern Empire") and the falgav a'kavna ("Crescent Islanders") develop as the two major sociopolitical groupings among the sea going peoples of Klinzhai. Wars rage between these two groups for decades before the Northern Empire swallows up the Crescent Islanders by around 1660. The new sea-going empire begins a series of actions against the land based komerex Klingon ("Empire of the People") that will last for centuries [FASA].
1642Isaac Newton, an early Earth scientist, is born. In 2370, Lt. Commander Data will re-create Newton for a poker game in a holodeck. Space vessels will be named in his honor, including one class. Sir Isaac Newton's residence at Cambridge will become the home of Professor Data in the late 24th Century (at least in one timeline) [TNG 252, SFC, TNG 277].
1647Ronin, a non-corporeal anaphasic energy being, is born in Glasgow, Scotland on Earth. It will use the Howard family line for hosts, its energy matrix only being compatible with their genetic biochemistry needed to exist, for over 800 years. A plasma-based candle heirloom will be created as a receptacle [TNG 266].
1664The inhabitants of an unnamed planet construct sleeper units for unlimited pleasure and escape. Within the next 600 years the people will be in agony [ON 6].

1746Montgomery Scott, transported by Weyland of Cragon V, fights for his life in Scotland on Earth [TOS #52].
1758Horatio Nelson, British commander, is born on Earth. Many vessels (sea-going and spacecraft) will carry his name. Nelson will command the H.M.S. "Victory" which many vessels will also be named after, and Geordi La Forge will construct a model of the original sailing vessel for his former commanding officer in 2365. Captain Picard in 2266 will refer to Lord Nelson's Battle of Trafalgar shortly before the Battle of Wolf 359 [TM, FASA, TNG 129, TNG 144].
1760Interplanetary war begins between the neighboring planets Eminiar VII and Vendikar. The war will last five centuries [TA].
1769Napoleon Bonaparte, military leader, is born on Earth. Trelane, the Squire of Gothos, will admire Napoleon claiming to have viewed his campaigns through a viewing scope as they occurred on Earth. Garth of Izar will brag about Napoleon's failure, and Lt. McGivers will compare Khan Noonian Singh to Napoleon [SG, WGD, SS].
1787, 12 April [reference stardate -3/8704.12]Vaonus of Calanista postulates that Remus is inhabitable, heralding in the Age of Discovery on Romulus. Although legends existed of life on other planets, this is the first time scientific evidence is presented to support the legends and theories [FASA].
1792, 24 December [reference stardate -3/9212.24]L'Tokus of Dinalla successfully launches a large, payload-carrying rocket into Romulus' upper atmosphere. Previously, rockets, though used in celebrations, rarely had been used militarily [FASA].
1793, 21 June [reference stardate -3/9306.21]Timuraasz places the first payload into orbit around Romulus [FASA].
1796, 12 August [reference stardate -3/9608.12]Dinalla puts the first Romulan in orbit [FASA].

The war soon spreads to other places on Romulus, as no city-state dares allow others to gather the necessary resources for space travel, fearing the loss of military advantage. August [reference stardate -2/0008] On Romulus, at a meeting of the elder statesmen of all the city-states, the great scientist/statesman L'Deus of Portora proposes that the city-states band together to reach Remus. He shows without a doubt that limited re- sources would prevent any one city-state from accomplishing the goal on its own. He uses the old legends and combines it with the example of the past and the realities of the present to make his appeal. After seven months of effort, he gives up in disgust. The meeting breaks up without the unifi- cation needed [FASA].
