Better Than That

Primitive cross-over country rock, R&B, and neo-psychedelic bluesy rock showcasing the unique songwriting abilities of Zurich-born guitar songstress Melanie Ray, and strong backing from Mick Taylor (who became interested in working with Melanie after recording at the same studio) and Noel Redding (of Jimi Hendrix fame). There are pounds of talent inside this wall of rock & roll and the influences of Pete Townsend are in evidence too. The addition of unconventional tones and nature sounds (a portion of the proceeds go to various animal protection funds) help make this a recommended listen.
